From download to chart in six steps.
Works in the MetaTrader 5 desktop terminal. You only do this once — after that, SMC Marks is in your Navigator for every chart.
- 01Download the indicatorHit Download for free. You get a single .ex5 file, ready to run.
- 02Open the data folderIn MetaTrader 5, click File › Open Data Folder.
- 03Paste into IndicatorsOpen MQL5 › Indicators and paste the downloaded file there.
- 04Refresh the NavigatorBack in MT5, open the Navigator (Ctrl + N), right-click Indicators and choose Refresh.
- 05Drag it onto a chartDrag SMC Marks onto any chart. Set your preferences in the Inputs tab and click OK.
- 06Save it as a templateOptional: right-click the chart, Templates › Save Template, so your setup loads on any chart in one click.
Not showing up?Check the file sits directly in MQL5/Indicators, not in a sub-folder of Downloads, then restart MetaTrader 5.The MT5 phone apps can't load custom indicators — but they can receive SMC Marks push alerts.

04 / ALERTS
Step off the desk. The chart will call you.
Alerts fire once per closed bar, as a terminal popup or a push notification to your phone.
- New HH or LL confirmed
- Bullish / bearish CHoCH
- Bullish / bearish BMS (or BOS)
- MBOS / iCHoCH, when internal structure is on
- Equal highs / lows, when EQH / EQL is on
- Price entered Premium or Discount
Push notifications need a MetaQuotes ID under Tools › Options › Notifications.
